
In addition to engagements on behalf of insurance policyholders, we have handled a variety of civil litigation matters in trial and appellate courts on behalf of a wide range of businesses, professional organizations, health-care providers and non-profit clients, including the Port of Houston Authority. These include defense of breach-of-contract and Deceptive Trade Practices actions; defense of legal malpractice claims; and defense of personal injury claims in medical malpractice and other tort cases.

City of Shoreacres v. Texas Commission of Environmental Quality, 166 S.W.3d 825, (Tex. App.-Austin, 2005), involving a challenge under the Texas Administrative Procedure Act to a permitting decision of the TCEQ.
Richmond Printing v. Port of Houston Authority, 996 S.W.2d 220 (Tex. App.-Houston [14th Dist.] 1999), involving compliance with the Texas public procurement statutes.
